Background

Mr. Saj Khan is a consultant ophthalmic surgeon specialising in cataract, laser and lens-based vision correction surgery in South London, Surrey and Sussex. A graduate of the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guys’ and St. Thomas’ Hospitals (UMDS) in London (1994), he initially trained to become a GP before being drawn in to the amazing world of ophthalmology.

He completed his basic surgical training in ophthalmology in the South Thames region, including St Thomas’ Hospital, and then completed higher surgical training in ophthalmology in the North Thames region, including Moorfield’s Eye Hospital.

He then gained further subspecialty expertise by undertaking a fellowship in cornea, anterior segment and refractive surgery at the world renowned Corneo-Plastic Unit at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead.
