Prateek Agarwal is an NHS Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon based at Royal Lancaster Infirmary with a special interest in Cornea and Refractive Surgeries and The Lancaster Circle Hospital Lancaster.
He is one of the few surgeons to have received qualifications from all three Royal Colleges of United Kingdom and fellowship in Cornea and External diseases at University Hospital Bern Switzerland. Prateek gained the specialist certificate FRCOphth and Laser and Refractive surgery (CertLRS) from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and is a Fellow of the World College of Refractive Surgery & Visual Sciences (FWCRS).
He further joined the Cornea team in 2017 at renowned Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and worked as Cornea and Refractive Surgeon for 4 years a state of art Facility. Started his journey of SMILE(LALEX) and further gained extensive experience in Keratoconus management and Therapeutic Refractive Surgery with Intracorneal segments, and customised crosslinking techniques. His interests include astigmatism management and Presbyopia solutions.
