Mr Mario Saldanha graduated from Medicine in 1996. He has 20 years experience in ophthalmology working in a variety of eminent ophthalmic centres in the UK and internationally. He has completed a prestigious fellowship at the University of Toronto where he learnt to treat a variety of corneal conditions and the pioneering technique of cornea transplantation, lamellar keratoplasty (DMEK) through keyhole access.
He has enhanced skills in performing complicated anterior segment procedures like secondary IOL’s, sutured and iris clip lenses. He is able to offer monofocal and multifocal IOL’s for cataract surgery to be truly spectacle independent. He can also offer collagen crosslinking for keratoconus patients.
